(2.33MB MP3 File)
The Krasnoyarsk chamber chorus was created in 1988 as a church chorus. From the
very beginning of the activity, it constantly accompanied with church
god-services and spent numerous concerts, propagandizing Russian spiritual
music. In 1993 the chorus received the status of municipal professional
collective. In 1999 was transformed in the man's chorus small on structure.
In structure of collective - highly professional musicians. The man's chorus
works practically in all kinds of vocal-choral music: from solo and ensemble
up to choral singing. The collective of chorus actively cooperates with a
Krasnoyarsk symphonic orchestra, constant participant of the programs of
radio and TV.
In repertoir of collective - ancient "songs of Russian soldiers", spiritual
and secular music of Russian and foreign classics, product of the modern
composers of Siberia. Among them: prayers, marches, cantates, national songs,
and etc.; products for chorus with an orchestra, for chorus with a body and
for chorus without support.
"The Creative shape of Krasnoyarsk chamber man's chorus is marked by
spiritual authenticity. And it is not got neither competitive or honourable
ranks, nor prestigious performances and international popularity, often
comparsa in the newspapers and on TV... It - mark true, from sincere depths
creating art..." (I. Efimova, teacher of Krasnoyarsk Academy of music and
theatre)
The founder and artistic director of chorus is the graduate of a Novosibirsk
conservatory Valery Ryazanov. The talented conductor, sensitive musician,
and, at last, simply remarkable man, Valery Ryazanov has created unique on
coordination of sounding and feeling performance collective constantly
surprising the audience with each occurrence on a stage...

Please excuse any confusion you may experience when reading above, it's probably due to my inadequate ability to accurately translate Russian. I'll keep trying to do better... -
