Musical Theatre of Russian Traditional Folklore - "KRYNITSY"
"KRYNITSA" is an ancient Russian word designating a spring (water). The
traditional national songs are about the original springs being inexhaustible to this
day, and a spiritual source of the ancient people.
The Collective: Unites 10 actors.
Repertoire: Songs from before the Christian period and songs of village Russia from a different epoch (in the form of
performance and in the form of a concert). The performance is spoken in the
original dialects. All costumes are made by the actors of the collective
and are exact copies of the ancient Russian originals.
The chief: Alexandr POPOVCHENKO - founder and the author - director of
collective, has ended the Moscow State school of Gnesins; the winner
of the premium of Krasnoyarsk Region in the field of traditional national
art culture; the owner of Grand Prix of the All-Russia competition "Uralskie
samozwety"; the participant of the international festivals of folklore and
ethnography.
It is remarkable that all musical tools are made by the chief of collective
and are exact copies of the ancient Russian originals. These musical tools
have huge value in the world as works of art.
The activity of Alexandr POPOVCHENKO is not limited to manufacturing of
musical tools, singing and to supervise in ensemble: Alexandr POPOVCHENKO
is a deep connoisseur of Russian antiquity. Having penetrated in
spheres of an antiquity, Alexandr POPOVCHENKO has original isoteric
knowledge with intercultural spiritual value.

Please excuse any confusion you may experience when reading above, it's probably due to my inadequate ability to accurately translate Russian. I'll keep trying to do better... -
